Creating a QR Code

Get ready to create modern and dynamic digital designs in hyble, using our QR tool!

Here are 5 ways that our QR Tool can be used to create a QR code:

1. Create a QR Code to link to marketing created in hyble
2. Create a QR Code to link to an external URL
3. Create a QR Code to link to an image
4. Create a QR Code to link to a PDF
5. Create a QR code to link to a landing page

QR codes can be added to items in hyble, enabling customers to scan and view menu content on their device.

Creating a QR code for marketing created in hyble:

Use this option if you'd like to add a QR code to a Point-of-Sale item or a menu, which will open your marketing on the customer's device when they scan it. For example, you can add a QR code to a circular decal which will then link to a full menu when scanned! 

Step 1: Create marketing for your QR code

Create marketing in hyble which you can then link to using a QR code (you'll create the QR code later!).

1. Log in to hyble.
2. Select the customer you want to create marketing for.
3. Create your menu or marketing.
4. Proceed to checkout and select “QR Tool” in the options.
5. Complete checkout.

Step 2: Create your QR code

Create a QR code to link to your (saved*) marketing using our QR Tool.

1. Log into hyble.
2. Select the customer you want to create a QR code for.
3. Click on “QR Tool”, this will open the QR Tool app in a new window.
4. In the QR Tool, click “Create QR Code” and give your QR code a name.
5. Choose “Direct Link” from the options.
6. Choose “Add marketing”, choose your previously saved marketing.
7. Follow the steps to review and download your QR code image.
8. Navigate back to hyble and follow Step 3 below.

Step 3: Add your QR code to an order

1. Switch back to hyble.
2. Select the customer you want to create an item for.
3. Select a saved order or create a new design. 
4. Upload the QR code image from your files (using the image upload tool in hyble).
5. Proceed to checkout with your marketing.

Creating a QR Code for an external link:

Use this option if you'd like to link to an external URL such as a customer or company website. You can create a QR code which can be added to a design in hyble.

Step 1: Create your QR code

Create a QR code to link to your URL using our QR Tool.

1. Log into the hyble app.
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to a QR code for.
3. Click on “QR Tool”.
4. In the QR Tool, click “Create QR Code” and give your QR code a name.
5. Choose “Direct Link” from the options.
6. Choose “Add a URL”, enter a name and a URL into the form.
7. Follow the steps to review and download your QR code image.
8. Navigate back to the hyble app and follow Step 2 below.

Step 2: Add your QR code to an order

You can now add your QR code image into an existing or new design.

1. Switch back to hyble.
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to create marketing for.
3. Select a saved order or create new marketing.
4. Upload the QR code image from your files (using the image upload tool in hyble). 
5. Proceed to checkout with your marketing.

Creating a QR code for an image:

Use this option if you'd like to link to an existing image. You can then create a QR code which can be added to a POS template in hyble.

Step 1: Create your QR code

Create a QR code to link to your image using our QR Tool.

1. Log into the hyble app
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to a QR code for
3. Click on “QR Tool” with will open the QR Tool in a new tab.
4. In the QR Tool, click “Create QR Code” and give your QR code a name.
5. Choose “Image” from the options and then “Proceed to Content”.
6. Choose “Add an Image”, enter a name and upload a file from your device.
7. Follow the steps to review and download your QR code image.
8. Navigate back to hyble and follow Step 2 below.

Step 2: Add your QR code to an order

You can now add your QR code image into an existing or new POS or menu order.

1. Switch back to hyble
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to create marketing for.
3. Select a saved order or create new marketing.
4. Upload the QR code image from your files. 
5. Proceed to checkout with your marketing.

Creating a QR code for a PDF:

Use this option if you'd like to link to an existing PDF. You can then create a QR code which can be added to a POS template in hyble.

Step 1: Create your QR code

Create a QR code to link to your PDF using our QR Tool.

1. Log into the hyble app.
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to a QR code for.
3. Click on “QR Tool”.
4. In the QR Tool, click “Create QR Code” and give your QR code a name.
5. Choose “PDF” from the options and then “Proceed to Content”.
6. Choose “Add a PDF”, enter a name and upload a file from your device.
7. Follow the steps to review and download your QR code image.
8. Navigate back to the hyble app and follow Step 2 below.

Step 2: Add your QR code to an order

You can now add your QR code image into an existing or new POS order.

1. Switch back to hyble.
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to create marketing for.
3. Select a saved order or create new marketing.
4. Upload the QR code image from your files. 
5. Proceed to checkout with your marketing.

Creating a QR code for a landing page

Use this option if you'd like to create a landing page with multiple external links. You can create a QR code to add to a design in hyble.

Step 1: Create your QR code

Create a QR code to link to a landing page with multiple links and your customer's branding.

1. Log in to hyble.
2. Select a customer.
3. Click on “QR Tool” from the landing page - QR tool will open in a new window.
4. Select “Create QR Code”.
5. Under “Choose QR code type”, select “Landing Page”.
6. Click “Proceed to Content” to add content to your landing page.
7. Choose content to add to the landing page from the options. You can add a heading, paragraph text, links to existing marketing, images and PDFs, or URLs to existing web pages such as an outlet’s website.
8. Click “Proceed to Customise” and add a logo and background image if you’d like to. You can upload images from your device.
9. Click “Proceed to Review” and review your landing page.
10. Click “Proceed to Display” and download your QR code as an image. You can then add this to marketing in hyble.

Step 2: Add your QR code to an order

You can now add your QR code image into an existing draft or brand-new order.

1. Switch back to hyble.
2. Select a customer - Select the customer you want to create marketing for.
3. Select a saved order or create new marketing.
4. Upload the QR code image from your files (using the image upload tool).
5. Proceed to checkout with your marketing.
