Formatting a Menu Section

When using hyble, we want you to have the formatting tools you need to create personalised marketing materials for your brand.

Once you have selected your items in your “Menu Section”, it's time to format. When you select “Menu Section”, at the top you’ll see three options: “Items”, “Settings”, and “Format”.

Clicking on the “Settings” and “Format” options will allow you to amend lots of different things within your menu section, including the alignment of your text, whether prices are shown on your menu, and even taste guides if you’re creating a wine menu!

“Settings” is the option in the middle of the “Edit Menu Section” option. This allows you to control:

  • Whether the images, prices, descriptions, ingredients, ABV, or labels of the drinks you’re displaying show in the menu section.
  • Whether the regions, food matchings, bin numbers, or taste guides of the wines you’re displaying show in the menu section, if you’re creating a wine menu.

“Format” is found on the right of the “Edit Menu Section”. In this section, you can control:

  • The alignment of the text in your menu section.
  • The spacing between items in the menu section, and the spacing between the text itself.
  • The size of the drink images if you’ve chosen to display them in your menu section.

In both the “Settings” and “Format” sections, you’re able to select the option “apply to all”. If you select this, the settings and formats will apply to all menu sections on your menu, allowing bulk formatting for ease of design.
