After uploading your own background or choosing a stock image, you can personalise your background even further with our handy formatting tools!
Positioning your background
Position your image to suit the size and shape of your selected item.
To position your chosen background, click on the “Position Image” option along the top toolbar on the “Background” tab. Move your image to display the best position.
Overlay
Want to use a background, but the image is taking away from other menu content? Our colour overlay feature allows menu sections and other design features to be the focus point of the design, all while still allowing beautiful backgrounds to be displayed.
On the “Backgrounds” tab, select the “Overlay” option. Choose from our standard colours or select a colour from our colour picker. Once selected, amend the transparency until you are happy.
Overlays can be applied to all pages using our “Apply to All” feature, shown below, or to certain pages.
Apply To All
Added a background or formatting feature and want to use it on all pages? With our “Apply To All” button you can do just that in one click.
On the “Backgrounds” tab, select “Apply to All” on features such as backgrounds, overlay and positioning.
